The shape we live in
We have been taught that tightness is the price of caring. That softness has to be earned, on weekends, when the work is done. The work is never done. So the tension stays, compounds, and eventually becomes the shape we live in.
Cielvaa began with one person who recognised this in herself. Not as a problem to push through, but as an invitation to return, gently and daily, to something a little lighter.
Companions from the plant world
When the founder began formulating, she turned first to plants. Not as a trend, but because plants have been doing this work quietly for a very long time. Ginger, rosemary, lavender, frankincense, jasmine, sweet orange. The same botanicals that have sat beside tired humans for millennia.
She was not looking for the newest ingredient. She was looking for the ones she could trust. Every blend Cielvaa makes starts there.
Held quietly
When the founder formulated for herself, she needed to trust what she was putting on her own skin. That standard has not changed. Every ingredient across the Cielvaa range is certified organic by USDA and ECOCERT. Every formula is certified vegan and never tested on animals at any stage of production.
These were not decisions made for marketing. They were made first for one person, and then held for everyone who follows.
Founded from experience
Cielvaa is a woman-owned small business, founded in California. Behind it is a former office worker and mother who spent years moving between the demands of a career and the full weight of raising children, with almost no space between the two.
She was not looking for a product. She was looking for a practice. Something small enough to fit into a real day, and grounded enough to actually land. When she could not find it, she formulated it herself.
Cielvaa is what she built, for herself first, and then for everyone who recognises the feeling.
